I am totally impressed!
Have you ever heard of such a thing?

The Incredible Egg

The Egg is a symbol to many different cultures to mean life, creation or resurrection.  But like the infinite possibilities of its use, The Egg has come to represent so much more.  My list below sums up things I have grown to appreciate it for.  Maybe I’ll expand with a short story explaining each in the future but for now you can come up with your own interpretation of the meaning.

I look forward to your thoughts and possibly what The Egg might symbolize for you.

(Or maybe I’m the only one who thinks like this)

The Veggie Omlete

A part of my intentions for this blog is to introduce different and interesting meals that you can use and enjoy.  I apologize for the short coming in creativity this week’s post has to offer, but my time is being absorbed by trying to figure out how this whole blog thing works.  You know, how  to use this blog and the relating social media, and programms,  and applications that go along with the effort of gaining readers/viewers.  Which is the main objective otherwise it would feel as though I’m talking to myself……..via blogging…… which deserves mocking.  Some of you know what I mean.         SO, I had to keep this weeks Breakfast simple, yet delicious.

Share with me what your favorite omelet is.  Different/interesting or not I would like to give it a whirl.

I also realize that this is the second week in a row without any meat involved, and for the meatlovers I apologies.  But I’ve got some monstrous meat-lover meals that could give you a heart attack on the spot which I will be sharing soon, so stay posted.

PoP-EyE Breakfast

The night before, while strolling through the grocery store, I was unsure what my Breakfast Video Blog début would be.  Do I start off with a bang and create a huge feast fit for a king or keep it simple with bananas and cereal.  Although cereal is more along my capabilities I thought it would be more viewer friendly if I find a happy medium.  Then a tasty little idea struck me as I wondered through the veggie isles.

Open Faced Spinach Egg & Swiss

(my apologies for the sideways and low quality video – part of my learning curve I guess.  I promise to work on this. )

  • 1 Slice toasted buttered Dark German Whole Wheat Bread
  • 2 Eggs over-hard (or easy)
  • Hand full of sautéed Mushrooms and Spinach
  • 2 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 3 Slices Tomato
  • I hope you enjoy this helping of spinach greatness, a breakfast that even Pop-Eye would be proud of.

    MET-Rx BIG 100 Protein Bar

Unfortunately I don’t always have time to sit down and make myself a hardy breakfast.  Getting up at 5am driving 45 minutes to workout than cleaning up and rushing over to work usually means its breakfast from a wrapper.  I know, I know eating processed food isn’t ideal but right now I’m caught up in the hustle of today’s day in age and that usually means ideal healthy eats takes a back seat.  And after an intense workout, a bowl of oatmeal or some yogurt or fruit just doesn’t cut it.  So I’ve turned to a on-the-go meal that satisfies my hunger….The BIG 100 protein bar.  There’s plenty of good nutritional value to this bar that makes my starving body feel energized.  The best part….they’re pretty darn good (for a protein bar).  We’re talking ‘Crispy Apple Pie’  ‘Super Chocolate Fudge Brownie’  ‘Penut Butter Pretzel’ and more.   The calories are up there but this is a meal in itself.  Drink plenty of ice-cold water and I’m good to go untill lunch.  MET-Rx Big 100 Bar  –  check ’em out.

Let me know your thoughts and if you have any favorites of your own I would love to hear them.
